網走海鮮Abashiri Seafood
網走海鮮の代表格であるホタテは、濃厚な甘み、旨味が凝縮されており、わさび醤油をつけて食べる刺し身も美味ですが、貝ごと炭火にかけるバーベキューも格別!また、網走ではさまざまなカニが漁獲でき、中でもアブラガニは国内産のほとんどが網走沖で獲られており、旨味たっぷりで絶品。
Scallops, one of the best specialties of Abashiri Seafood, are creamy, sweet and flavorful. Raw scallops with wasabi and soy sauce are of course delicious, but grilling the whole shellfish over charcoal is also mouthwatering! A variety of crabs are caught in Abashiri, and most of the blue crabs in market of Japan are caught off the coast of Abashiri.

北見焼肉Kitami Yakiniku BBQ
北見市は人口当たりの焼肉店が北海道No.1!サガリやホルモンなどの内臓肉を七輪で焼き、野菜や果物などを使った生のタレにつけて味わうのが「北見焼肉」。地元から観光客の方までこぞって食している。毎年2月上旬には、北見の「寒い」と「うまい」をダブルで堪能できる、「北見厳寒の焼き肉まつり」が開催され、毎年数多くの参加者が、冷えた身体を美味い焼肉で温める。
Kitami has the highest number of Yakiniku restaurants per capita in Hokkaido! The Kitami style, loved by the locals and the tourists, is to grill organ meats such as beef skirt and offal on a charcoal grill and dip them in sauce made with vegetables and fruits. Every year in early February, the "Kitami Genkan Yakiniku Festival'' is held, where you can enjoy both the "cold'' and "delicious'' tastes of Kitami. The participants warm up their cold bodies with delicious yakiniku.

厚岸の牡蠣Akkeshi Oysters
自然の養分をたっぷり含む海域で育つ、厚岸の牡蠣。小ぶりで旨味が凝縮した「カキえもん」、濃厚で身が締まっている「弁天かき」、身がたっぷり詰まっている「マルえもん」と種類があり、食べ比べも楽しめます。
Akkeshi oysters grow in waters rich in natural nutrients. There are three types of oysters: "Kakiemon'' which is relatively small and yet flavorful, "Benten oyster'' which is rich and firm, and "Maruemon'', which is meaty. Taste all of them and find your favorite.
